Someone’s Son
A Poem for Noah
He was someone’s son.
He was someone’s brother.
He was someone’s cousin, nephew, grandson.
You may not know what you mean to these people.
You may not understand what your absence does.
It is a hole in time, in space, in hearts.
Ripping, tearing, yearning…
There is no repair.

Jim Houlne
Summit Healing is saddened by the passing of Jim Houlne, Facilities and Operations Director. Jim assisted in making Summit Healing a place where people felt welcome and safe. Jim was a true family man and cherished his time with the ones he loved. Jim knew how to bring a smile to the face of anyone he met with his great sense of humor. He worked daily from the belief that supportive housing and recovery programs would help others experiencing the same struggles Jim had experienced in the past.
Jim's family requests that any donations be made in his name to Summit Healing.
